Dr Wong is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and also the Governance Institute of Australia.  He has served on many boards as a Non-Executive Director and been a member of a number of board standing committees.  He has served as a Company Secretary for over ten years and specialises in Corporate Governance and Innovation. 

Dr Wong has a broad background with unique qualifications and experience in information technology, strategic management, finance and law.  He has held senior management positions in startups as well as in large multinational corporations.

The Queensland Chapter was incorporated on 4th December 2004. Members are employed across various industries the majority are reflective of Queensland's economic output, such as mining, energy, infrastructure, government, financial service.

Forticode Ltd

From April 2013 - March 2015, was a Non-Executive Director on the board of Forticode Ltd and From April 2015 - July 2016 was a Director on the Advisory Board of Forticode Ltd.
Forticode Ltd is a public unlisted company.  It develops software systems designed to eradicate fraud and identity theft across all systems that require a user to authenticate (password/PIN). The products offer drop in replacements to existing authentication processes which is not compromised through casual or systematic observation, but keeps the user experience simple and straightforward.

Major Contributions

  • Developed a new management team to lead the portfolios.

  • Introduced relationships with partner companies, marketing directly to end users, and focusing on promoting the benefits of the Forticode solution.
